+ What should we do for preschool? Do you have a curriculum?

We have two fantastic resources for the early years. One is an in-depth blog series on how to do Waldorf-inspired preschool at home. This sets the foundation and is worth checking out for anyone with children ages 2-6 and anyone new to Waldorf. The other is a complete kindy curriculum. + When should we start first grade?

I recommend first grade for children who will be 7 years old for most of the school year. When you homeschool with Waldorf-inspired methods, the academic content can be easily adjusted to fit your child’s pace in each subject, but the broader developmental picture of the stories and subjects is carefully matched to the child’s age. The First Grade curriculum is full of guidance on how to meet your child where he’s at.
